Creamy Garlic Mashed Potatoes

  • ½ kg Russet Potatoes
  • 3 Garlic Cloves
  • ¼ tsp Pepper
  • ¼ tsp Oregano
  • 2 Cups Water
  • 2 Tbsp Butter
  • ½ Cup Low Fat Milk
  • Fresh Coriander Leaves

Take a skillet. Boil potatoes with 3 chopped garlic cloves and 2 cups of water on high heat. Reduce heat to simmer. Cook uncovered until potatoes get tender (about 20 minutes). Drain. Get back to low heat. Add 2 tbsp butter to the skillet and add boiled potatoes, half cup of low fat milk, 1/4th tsp pepper, 1/4 tsp Oregano, and salt to taste. Mash. Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot. Savor the taste!
