16 Reasons Lemon is a Blessing from Nature

1. DIY All-purpose Cleaner:
Grab a lemon and peel it. Pour over it 5 fl oz (150 ml) of vinegar. Leave it overnight. The next morning, add 5 fl oz (150 ml) of water. And, that’s it! Your all-purpose natural cleaner is all set to sparkle shine your house. Just pour it in an empty spray bottle to use it conveniently.
2. Clean the Cutting Board:
To keep your cutting board clean, use a halved lemon as a sponge and salt as a scrub. After clean scrubbing your cutting board, leave the board for 15 minutes. Repeat the same procedure for one more time. Voila!
3. Brightening whites:
To keep up your white laundry brightest white, prepare a mixture of lemon juice and baking soda. Keep your laundry soaked into the mixture for at least half an hour before washing.
4. Manicure:
Treat your nails with a reinvigorating bath to keep them healthy and strong. Follow this simple recipe: a few drops of lemon added to warm water and, your hands soaked into it. Voila!

Lemons are a natural skin-lightener. They help in lightening pesky freckles, blemishes, or age spots. All that you need to do is just slice it and gently rub it all over your face.

Lemon, lime, or an orange halve makes for a nice and unique candle holders. Remove the pulp and fill it up with the melted wax. Not to forget, the candle wick! Glue the wick to the bottom of your DIY candle holder.
13. Recuperate the Overall Health:
The lemon juice and baking soda combination consist digestive, alkalizing and cleansing properties. It detoxifies your body, regulate the bad cholesterol levels, and give a good vitamin C dose. Take a glass of mineral water and add to it a teaspoon of baking soda and juice of half a lemon. Consume this every morning, for two weeks in a row. And then, rest for two more.

Lemon peels and baking soda are the two super smary cleaning agents to make your stainless steel shine.
15. Clear Away the Berry Stains:
When preparing berries, you could probably stain your hands. Lemon juice to the rescue! Also, it can help clear away the stains from fabrics. Wash the fabric in cold water and then proceed by soaking it in lemon juice for a few minutes.
16. Insects Repellant:
Keep ants at bay, pour drops of lemon juice on the window sills and the doorways. Also, you can shunt the mosquitoes – just stick cloves into a halved lemon.
